I wanted an easy pair of shorts for summer/vacation. I am all about comfort these days after having my first baby a year ago. I have to chase him around too so something comfortable and not restricting is a must. I opted to size up based on the other reviews. I wear a 6/8 am currently about 160/165 lbs and am 5’2”. I ordered an XL because I wanted a looser fit but I definitely could have ordered a large. This fit is definitely more forgiving than I was expecting. But I am keeping the XL because although they are loose, the waist is elastic and has the tie, so they won’t fall down. They are SOOO comfy! I highly recommend these. I’d say they run true to size, if I’d order again I’d order a large.
