I wear a size 14, which in most places in the US is a Large. I saw reviews that said these ran true to size, so I ordered the Large. I can get into them, but will need to lose at least 10 pounds for these to be comfortable. I'm planning on doing that anyway, so keeping the shorts. Thankfully they are stretchy.I should have gone with my initial impulse to order an XL.
